Scarf and Dish Scrubbie

So much has happened since my last post! I went to Kissimmee, Florida, last week and had a blast at Universal Studios and Disney World. But, I still have been whipping up a few things. It's going to be a lot harder to complete projects with school now. My first day back was today. Can you say "SENIOR YEAR OF COLLEGE WUT?!"

While in Orlando, my roommate found the cutest specialty yarn shops to visit. If you're ever in that area, check out The Black Sheep, Sip and Knit, KNIT, and The Knitting Patch. Very awesome stores, although the owner of Sip and Knit did seem a little twitchy. o_o

They may have been on the expensive side, but I got a lot of great yarn. Here's what I bought!

Some yummy 100% DK cotton!
Worsted weight, beautifully colored, but not so soft, NORO!

Very smooth TONIC that feels like a light worsted. 85% acrylic, the rest wool. :)

And my absolute FAVORITES! The scarf is made from Katia's Triana Lux #61 Beige/Camel/White. It is sooooo gorgeous, and I can't wait to wear it in the fall/winter. The other yarn balls are Flounce. They are both mesh yarns, but Triana has a much wider mesh pattern.

And here are some FOs:

Fluffy scarf (with matching hat coming soon!)

And of course, my Triana scarf. :)
